MAKE UP

IVE BEEN LOOKING INTO THE MAKE UP FOR THE SHOOT, LOOKING AT THE ENGAGEMENT PICTURES AND THE MAKE UP LOOKS QUITE PLAIN AND SIMPLE. I THINK WE SHOULD STICK TO PLAIN MAKE UP AND LET THE PROPS AND THE DRESS DO THE WORK OF MAKING A CONTRAST. I HAVE FOUND AN ARTICLE, PICTURES AND SOME YOUTUBE VIDEOS OF WHAT I RESEARCHED.

DURING her six years in the spotlight, Kate Middleton has always looked immaculate.

With her glowing, clear skin, rosy cheeks and luscious, glossy hair, the 27-year-old girlfriend of Prince William appears to have little help to keep her natural look so perfect.
However, we reckon she must work royally hard behind the Palace doors to look this good and we have composed a list of top products to achieve the Kate Middleton look.
So if, like her, you fancy bagging yourself a Prince Charming, here is a guide on how to keep yourself looking like a perfect princess.

Skin

WHATEVER your age, keeping your skin nourished and hydrated is essential.
As Kate is only in her twenties, she could use a good moisturising product such as Nivea Visage Natural Beauty Radiance Boosting Moisturiser.
This not only hydrates but also cleverly illuminates the skin with tiny reflective particles in the cream, giving a natural-looking glow (£8.79, from chemists and supermarkets nationwide).

Face

YOUNG skin should never be caked in too much make-up, so choose light products that merely highlight and accentuate features, rather than cover them.
Mineral foundations are great for skin because they contain no talcs or oils, which can clog up pores and cause spots.
Mineral products nourish the skin and make it appear light and lucid.
Try Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral which gives a natural, healthy finish (£24, for stockists see esteelauder.co.uk).
Kate's cheeks always appear to have a natural, healthy glow. Put a touch of colour into your face by using a light lip and cheek stain.
Rather than a harsh pink or brown blush, a stain appears natural and lasts all day.
Try a rosy tint product such as Body Shop Lip & Cheek Stain (£9.50).
Keep eyes fresh and natural with golden tones. W7 Cosmetics' Golden Eyes palette contains nine golden shades to suit any colouring (£4.95, from magicmakeup.co.uk or call 01753 639137).
Define with a touch of eye liner in a soft brown, such as L'Oreal Paris Kohl Minerals Eye Liner in chestnut.
This should be applied with a fine brush and gives a lovely soft effect (£7.82, available nationwide).
Finish with a couple of coats of glossy, plumping mascara such as 2True Instant Volume Mascara (£1.91, from Superdrug).

Lips

WE may not often hear Kate speak, but her lips always look practically perfect.
For a subtle, understated way of bringing colour to the lips, begin with a liner in a soft brown or neutral colour.
We love No7 Perfect Lips Liner in nude (£6.60 available from Boots).
Fill in with a nude gloss or one with a hint of colour, either brown or rose pink.
Try Taxi Lipgloss from the Passengers Range in Piccadilly that gives a hint of definition and depth with a natural-looking gloss. (£6.36, from Superdrug).
